Of course, there are the ups and the downs in every story but, overall, it's the same thing. Then they all meet the one girl that changes everything and suddenly realize they want to be in a relationship. Very attractive, very popular, and very swoon worthy. The overall theme of the books is that the main guy character is an amazing hockey player, and has been with a lot of girls-they have that sort of reputation. So, if you do decide to read any of these, definitely pick up the first one. Out of the five, The Deal was my favorite by far. And the books range from 305-340 pages long, with relatively short chapters. The Deal is the only one on Kindle Unlimited for whatever reason. The entire series is on Kindle for about $5 or less. I was hooked, and I just wanted something romantic, mindless, and fun! Surprisingly, I didn't get tired of it, and I even read all the books back-to-back in one weekend.
